LeanWallet ("the App", "we", "us") is a personal budgeting and expense-tracking app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We do not sell your data, and we do not connect to your bank.
Account information. Your email address and, optionally, your name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and the associated email (Apple may relay a private email).
Financial data you enter. Only what you manually enter: transactions (amount, type, category, optional note, date), budgets, custom categories, currency preference, and the streak figures the app calculates. We do not access your bank accounts, cards, or institution data.
Subscription status. If you subscribe, we receive entitlement status from Apple, Google, and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We never receive or store payment card details — Apple and Google handle those.
Technical data. Standard information needed to run the service (app version, device type, error logs).
Data is stored with Supabase (our backend/database provider) on secured cloud infrastructure, protected by row-level security so you can only access your own data, and encrypted in transit.
We do not sell your data. We share only with providers that operate the App: Supabase (database/auth/storage), Apple/Google (sign-in and billing), and RevenueCat (subscription management). We may disclose information if required by law.
Depending on your location (EU/EEA under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may access, correct, export, or delete your data and object to certain processing.
You can delete your account and all data at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account. For any other request, contact us.
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted.
LeanWallet is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, with appropriate safeguards where required.
We may update this policy; material changes update the "Effective date" above.
