Delete Your Account

How to delete your LeanWallet account and the data associated with it.

You can permanently delete your LeanWallet account and all associated data at any time, directly inside the app. No email or waiting period is required.

Delete your account in the app

Open the LeanWallet app and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm when prompted.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email patsiantosantreas@gmail.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account", and we will delete it for you within 30 days.

What data is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all of the data we hold for you, including:

Your account and login (email address).
All transactions you entered (amounts, categories, notes, dates).
Your budgets, custom categories, currency preference, and streak data.

What data is kept, and for how long

Once deleted, your data is removed from our live database immediately and purged from encrypted backups within 30 days. We retain no personal data after that period, except where required by law (for example, records of a transaction with Apple or Google may be retained by those payment providers under their own policies). We never store your payment card details — Apple and Google handle billing.
